Fried Masala Fish By Heena Jethwa  

Main Ingredients
Fish fillets

Ingredients Method
1lb firm white fish fillets e.g., tilapia
1/4 cup oil
oil for shallow frying

For seasoning:
1 tbs crushed garlic
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp tumeric
1 tsp crushed green chillies - or to taste
1 tsp salt
1 tbs dharna jeeru
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 tbs fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh chooped coriander

  1. Mix all the ingredients from garlic to coriander in a bowl

  2. Spread the mixture on each side of the fillets

  3. Cover and refrigerate fish for 3 hours

  4. Shallow fry marinated fish in hot oil for about 3 minutes each side

  5. Serve

For seasoning:

  1. Garnish with chooped coriander

Serves: 2 - 4

Making time: 40 mins plus 3 hours marinade
